Comma (Polygonia c-album)
This week we returned to a regular venue for (hopefully) our
last Himalayan Balsam pulling session of the year – the Merstone Stream in
Blackwater. It is important to try and
keep on top of the HB as it is still flowering and seeding. We made good progress and found enough to
keep us all busy. Undoubtedly, we will be re-visiting this site next year but hopefully will see a reduction in the amount of HB present.
Thank you to Simon for his photo and to Bob for leading the session (although he forgot the biscuits!!).
