Once again when visiting this school....plenty of work for GG to do. The unseasonable warm weather continues and it stayed dry for the entire session, which is always a bonus 👍.

This looks to be a very busy session at a rather exposed cliff top site..! (Remember the incident when Charlie was "attacked" by a giant ball of tumble weed 😀). The weather is still holding good for mid October, long may it continue to do so.

Wed 12th )ct 2022 - The Riverside, Newport. GG # 905.

This week, Green Gym was back at the Riverside in Newport...a site we have visited many times in the past. As per usual, the surrounding gardens and flower beds had become extremely overgrown with the summertime plant (and WEED!) growth and was in serious need of our attention. Terry's excellent photographs above show the extent of the tasks undertaken, all of which had to be co-ordinated around the queuing public who were waiting to get their Covid booster vaccinations. The weather was dry and sunny which encouraged a good turn out of GGmers. By the time the session came to a close the area was looking a whole lot tidier and ready for the winter months. 

Next week GG will be over at Flowers Brook, Ventnor.

With winter just around the corner it is time for Team GG to give this site it's usual end of summer makeover. It was a rather breezy day but fortunately, the forecaster rain did not arrive until the end of the session 👏.
