A new site keeps the GG team on its toes! Despite the gloomy weather forecast 14
waterproofed GG-ers turned up at Mole Country Store who kindly allowed us to
park within their site. We then walked
along the verge and down Blackwater Hollow and from there onto the land which is
between Mole Country Store and the River Medina. This piece of land is rough, ungrazed and
left to the vagaries of nature.
Unfortunately, there is also a lot of Himalayan Balsam. We set to and worked our way through the
brambles. After our tea break, the rain
became heavier, thunder rolled in, and we decided to finish earlier than
usual. We will definitely be revisiting
this site!
