Wed 9th Aug 2023 - Newclose Cricket Ground, Shide. GG # 946.

 Terry's Photographs.

Geoff's Editorial.

A Good number of Green Gymers met up again at Newclose to continue the eradication (eventually) of Himalayan Balsam. We were covering again previous areas aiming to remove anything that was missed as well as emerging young plants. This often meant getting into the most difficult places through water filled ditches, nettles and brambles.

It was a pleasant rather humid morning and we enjoyed the cricket clubs hospitality.

Many thanks to Geoff and Terry for their contributions this week. 👏

Many thanks to Terry for taking the photographs, any more of this and we will have to thing about getting an underwater camera..!
